Voces de la Frontera: A Day Without Latinos March

On October 11th, 2021 hundreds of immigrants and their allies joined escalated marches throughout the country in "A Day Without Latinos." Since the first "A Day Without Latinos March" in 2006, thousands have marched demanding a path to citizenship for 11 million undocumented immigrants. The Latino population in the US is estimated at 20%, however, according to a study by the Universities of Ohio and Wisconsin-Milwaukee, 40% of Latino essential workers have died due to the pandemic.
